Parent guide

There are two separate things going on here, and it helps to keep them straight. The coach's game is the official record — score, goals, penalties. Your tracking is your own private thing: touches, passes, shots, whatever you want to count on your own player. They live side by side and never overwrite each other.

Anything marked Paid needs a subscription. Everything else is free.

Getting linked

There are two ways in, and either ends up in the same place.

The coach invites you

They send an invitation to your email. You get a six-digit code, sign in with it, and you're already connected to your player — there's nothing to set up and no team to find.

Or you ask them

If a follow code or link reached you first — from the coach's team chat, or from another parent — you can start by just watching, then say which player is yours. Tap Is one of these your child? on your home screen, pick them from the roster, and the coach gets a request to link you. Once they approve, the app moves you into the parent experience on its own.

This is the quicker route in practice: the coach doesn't need to know your email address in advance, and you don't have to wait for them to think of you. You will need to add your email before asking, because being linked to a child means holding their stats and that shouldn't rest on an account that vanishes with the phone.

If the code has expired or was already used, ask the coach to resend it. If you were already tracking your player on your own before the invitation arrived, the app asks whether it's the same player so your history isn't split in two. Say yes and everything merges.

Watching a game

The live score

When the coach starts tracking, a card appears on your home screen with the score and period, updating as it happens. Tap it for the full feed: score, shots on goal for both teams, and every goal in order with the scorer and assists named.

You don't have to do anything to make this happen and you can't affect the coach's game — it's read-only.

What else you can see

The roster, the schedule, past game recaps and season stats, all read-only. The Team tab has a toggle between the team's numbers and your player's.

Tracking your own stats

Starting a session

Track [name]'s Game from your home screen, or Join Game in Progressif the coach has already started. Pick the opponent — it's pre-filled if there's a game scheduled today — and go.

The first time, you'll choose what to count. Simple is touches, shots, goals and assists. Advanced adds passes made, passes received and penalties. You can also pick between a grid layout and stat rows, and change any of it mid-game.

During the game

Big tiles, one tap each. Every tap can be undone from the toast or from Recent taps, which lists everything with its own undo.

Joined late? + P1 stats lets you enter what you remember from the periods you missed, or skip them. Nothing is required — a rough count is better than none.

At the end of each period you get a summary. At the end of the game you can save it, or discard it if the whole thing was a false start.

Shot Tracker Paid

Turn it on and every shot or goal opens a half-rink — one tap marks where it was taken from. Afterwards you get a shot chart per period or for the session.

Three games are free, counted per player you track. A game only uses one when you actually save a location, not when you turn the toggle on or skip a shot. Viewing charts is always free.

After the game

The recap

Your stat tiles, how long the session ran, the full list of what you tapped grouped by period, and a notes field. Share Recap turns it into a text summary for the family chat.

History and corrections

Every session is listed on your player's page. Open one to see the detail, and Edit to fix any count by hand — handy when you know you double-tapped. You can also add a past sessionfor a game you didn't track live: pick the date, the opponent, and enter the numbers.

Trends Paid

Once you have a couple of sessions, your player's page shows a trends strip. It charts any stat across the season and, after four sessions, tells you how the second half compares with the first. The session list underneath is free.

Privacy and control

What the coach can see

By default the coach can see the stats you track. There's a switch in Settings → Share tracking with coach, per player, and turning it off means the coach sees "not shared" instead of your numbers. Your data isn't deleted and you keep everything.

The coach's own game stats — goals, assists, penalties — are the team's record and are visible either way.

Inviting family

You can invite grandparents, aunts, family friends yourself, without going through the coach. On your player's card, tap Invite family to follow, create a code, and share it. They'll see the live score and goals — nothing about other players, no roster, no schedule.

Codes work up to ten times and expire after 30 days. You can turn one off or remove a follower whenever you like. A coach can switch this off for their team, in which case you'll be told.

Leaving a team

Settings → Unlink playerremoves you from the team. Your tracking history is kept, but you lose access to the team's games and roster. If your child changes teams, the new coach invites you fresh.

Your account

Settings holds your email address, your plan, sign-out and account deletion. Deleting is permanent. If you subscribed, cancel in the App Store or Play Store first — deleting the app or your account doesn't stop the billing.
