Can you follow a youth hockey game live?

Yes. In RinkTally, family — grandparents, aunts, uncles, family friends — can see the live score, read-only. You don't track anything and can't change anything. You can't break anything.

What you'll see

The live score, the period, shots on goal, and every goal as it happens. When following a player, you see the player's name and jersey number in the app. Shared recap pictures show jersey numbers only, not children's names. You can also see the goalie stats parents track.

If the coach or parent is in a rink with no signal, the app syncs later. Updates may come in once their phone syncs.

The easiest way: follow by a link

The coach or parent sends you a link. You tap it, install RinkTally if you haven't already, sign in, and you're watching — the code is filled in for you.

Signing in

Sign in with Apple, Google, or a one-time code sent to your email. There's no password to remember, and because it's a real account, you can follow on every device you own.

Join with a follow code

A follow code looks like ABCD-2345. The coach or parent makes one and sends it to you by text or email. In RinkTally, tap Join a Team with a Code, enter it, and you're following. Codes can be redeemed a limited number of times and can be turned off by whoever created them.
